Looking carefully at the video, we found discrepancies in the synchronisation between the audio and video. Additionally, Akshay Kumar can be seen gesturing towards a device in his hand. Running a keyword search, we traced the original video uploaded on the official YouTube channel of fitness company GOQii on November 22, 2019. The video caption reads: “India’s Health Coach Akshay Kumar talks about the importance of heart health, ECG tests and the new GOQii VitalECG.”
Upon comparing the keyframes of both videos, it became evident that the viral video had been digitally manipulated to include Akshay Kumar’s audio discussing the arrest of Imran Khan.
Moreover, there was no credible media report stating that Akshay Kumar has condemned the arrest of Imran Khan.
