FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be false.
Analysing the keyframes of the video, NM team could find a signboard ‘S.M.S Hospital’ at the beginning of the clip.
Running a keyword search, we found that Swai Man Singh Hospital — popularly known as SMS Hospital — is in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Putting the video through Reverse Image Search along with some relevant keywords such as ‘Jaipur, rain, low-floor bus’, we found the extended version of the same video on YouTube, dated August 10, 2020.
“Water enters the low-floor bus during the heavy rains in Jaipur” the title reads.
Upon inspecting this video carefully, we found another signboard ‘Nasiya Bhattarakji’ in the video.
Searching with the key word, our team found that it is a Jain Temple in Jaipur.
Moreover, at 0:59 sec of the video, we noticed something written on the glass of the bus. Since the video was taken from inside the bus, the text was inverted. We flipped the screengrab and found that the text reads ‘ Jaipur Bus’ in Hindi.
Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the it is an old video from Jaipur in Rajasthan, and NOT related to the recent Delhi floods.
