New Delhi: India’s acclaimed javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra, delivered yet another exceptional performance on Friday. His remarkable display secured his position in the finals of the World Athletics Championships.
Chopra, in his initial attempt, astonished spectators with a phenomenal 88.77m throw, effortlessly surpassing the required mark of 83.00 m.The exceptional throw has also guaranteed his participation in the much-anticipated 2024 Paris Olympics.

The World Athletics Championships 2023 are being held in the Hungarian capital of Budapest from August 19 to 27. At least 12 players will go into the final, which will take place on Sunday.
Chopra secured a silver medal at last year’s World Championship in Eugene. He has clinched Gold at the Tokyo Olympics, the Commonwealth Games, and the Asian Games, in addition to being crowned the Diamond League champion.
