FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found it to be misleading.

We did an open keyword search and came across a report by India Today dated September 08, 2023. According to the report, the Government clarified that it has not extended invites to prominent business leaders for the G20 special dinner to be held on September 09, as claimed in a report by news agency Reuters. Calling the report “misleading”, the government said: “No business leaders have been invited to the dinner.”

On searching further, we found a tweet by the official handle of PIB Fact Check in which they denied the viral claim.
