New Delhi: Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra has joined hands with Air India to craft new uniforms for the airline’s employees. This collaboration was officially announced by Air India on Thursday.
Air India took to its official handle on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the collaboration, Air India stated, Delighted to announce our partnership with celebrated couturier,@ManishMalhotra, to design new uniforms for our cabin crew, pilots and other colleagues on the frontline. Exciting times ahead, as we collaborate with Manish Malhotra to create a stunning new look for our colleagues that will represent the new Air India we are building.”
More than 10,000 dedicated Air India personnel, comprising cabin crew, cockpit staff, and ground and security teams, will be donning the new uniforms crafted by Malhotra.
Reacting to the collaboration, Malhotra said, “It’s an absolute honour to collaborate with Air India, our national flying ambassadors. Reimagining their uniforms is the onset of a journey of joy and collaboration, and I am excited to embark on it.
