FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.

The NM team was not able to find any such press release on the official website of ITLF. The last Press Release by the Forum was done on September 25, 2023, whereas the date in the viral post shows September 26, 2023. We could not find any such information on their social media handles as well.

We also noticed that all official Press Releases on the website of ITLF have an official watermark of the logo in the background. This watermark is missing in the viral post, confirming that it is fake.

A Google Keyword Search about the news also yielded no credible results. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming ITLF is organising a ‘mega poppy flower sale’ in Manipur, is fake.
