Zeenat Aman Wants Deepika Padukone To Star In ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ Sequel

Date:

Mumbai: Veteran actors Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor recently joined the Koffee couch, sharing nostalgic stories and engaging in playful banter.

In the rapid-fire round, Zeenat Aman faced challenging choices, surprising fans with her responses.

When asked about the ideal actor to play her iconic character Rupa in a potential sequel to ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram,’ Zeenat suggested Deepika Padukone for the role.

In another question about choosing an actor for a potential biopic, Zeenat Aman confidently picked Priyanka Chopra for the role.

Zeenat Aman, with a career starting in the 1970s, starred in iconic films like ‘Haré Rama Hare Krishna,’ ‘Don,’ and ‘Dharam Veer.’ Her outstanding performances in ‘Qurbani’ and ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ established her as a talented performer.

Zeenat Aman recently completed shooting for Manish Malhotra’s ‘Bun Tikki.’ She shared a picture on Instagram in a beautiful pink saree, likely representing her character, Sitara Jaan, with the caption, ‘And It’s a Wrap for Sitara Jaan.’

Shabana Azmi will also play a significant role in the movie. Zeenat and Shabana have collaborated on films like ‘Ishk Ishk Ishk’ and ‘Ashanti.’ The film, directed by Faraz Arif Ansari, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Dinesh Malhotra, and Marijke Desouza for Manish Malhotra’s Stage 5 Productions, with support from Jio Studios.
