Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team spotted a YouTube shorts video on the official channel of Telugu Nestam — A Telugu news and media organisation, dated September 2023. The video matches with the viral clip, describing that SRK’s visit to Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
Searching further, we came across another YouTube video on the official channel of ANI News. The longer video shows Khan’s entire journey inside the temple. Towards the end, we see certain parts of the video match with the viral clip. This confirms that the video has nothing to do with the recent consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Temple.
According to The Times of India report, SRK was not invited for the consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show SRK arriving in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony, is false.
