Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes led us to a tweet published on February 6, 2024, on the official handle of ANI. The tweet shows a Press Conference video where Rahul Gandhi clarifies that he gave the biscuit back to the dog owner when the dog refused to eat it.
Searching further, we also came across another tweet on the official handle of the INDIA Alliance. The tweet shows the dog owner’s testimony corroborating that Rahul Gandhi indeed offered the dog biscuit to his dog during the rally and then gave it back to him when the dog refused to eat it.
We could not find a single credible evidence stating that Gandhi disrespected his party co-workers during his ongoing rally. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming Rahul Gandhi offered a biscuit rejected by a dog to one of his co-workers, is false.
