A video claiming Amitabh Bachchan ignored Boman Irani as the latter approached him to handshake at an event is doing the rounds on social media. Many users have criticised Bachchan for his act.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption: Amitabh Bachchan IGNORED Boman Irani. During an event, Boman Irani looked super excited to meet Amitabh Bachchan, but the superstar did not radiate the same vibe. As Boman waited with his hand out for a handshake, he was IGNORED IN PUBLIC. #AmitabhBachchan #bomanirani

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, our team traced a YouTube video on a verified YouTube channel Mana Stars. As per the caption, the video is from an ISPL cricket match which was attended by Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ram Charan and Boman Irani, apart from Amitabh Bachchan.
However, going through the full video, we could see Bachchan shaking hands with everybody on the stage, including Boman Irani, as opposed to what is being claimed in the viral clip.
Another YouTube video also shows visuals from the opening ceremony of ISPL. Here too, Bachchan properly meets Boman Irani as he did with everyone else. He also gave an interview to Irani afterwards.
This confirms that the viral video has been deliberately altered to spread misinformation.
