New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) officially announced seat-sharing in Bihar on Sunday. BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde announced the much-anticipated seat-sharing arrangement.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- According to the announcement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to contest on 17 seats, while the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) will contest for 16 seats.
- The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) led by Chirag Paswan will contest on five seats, with Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha securing one seat each in the coalition
- Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest on five seats Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria and Jamui. Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha respectively on Gaya and Karakat seats, as per the announcment.
