Fact Check: 2018 Video Viral As Kumar Vishwas Taking A Dig At Kejriwal After Arrest

After the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, a video of Kumar Vishwas doing rounds on social media with a claim that he is taking a dig at Kejriwal and singing about his arrest. 

The post read, “भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप में जेल पहुंचे अरविंद केजरीवाल तो कुमार विश्वास ने अपने अंदाज में लिये मजे।।”

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found the post to be misleading.

We cropped and took the screenshot of Kumar Vishwas’ clip and ran it through a Reverse Image Search. The search led us to the full video that was shared by News Tak on March 2, 2018. The title, “Kumar Vishwas: होली पर कुमार विश्वास का ‘मोदी, राहुल, केजरीवाल’ स्पेशल | News Tak | Big Story.”

In the video, Vishwas can be heard taking a dig at different political leaders from different parties, including himself since he too was a member of AAP till 2017. The viral clip can be seen at 1 minute 16 seconds of the above video. 

Thus, from the above fact check, it is clear that an old video is being shared with a false claim.
