Washington D.C: Former US President and Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has claimed that President Joe Biden was on drugs while delivering his State of the Union address last month. He has demanded a debate with him and called for drug tests at such events.
During an appearance on conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt’s show on Thursday, Trump said that he thinks what happened is that cocaine had been discovered at the White House and added that something is going on at the President’s residence.
Trump said that he watched the State of the Union and said that the President was jacked up at the beginning and by the end of his address he was fading fast and he believed that something was going on there. When asked whether Trump was insinuating that Biden used cocaine, Trump said “he did not know” what the latter was using and asserted that “he was higher than a kite”.
Trump added that he wants a debate with the President and believes that debate with Biden should be drug tested. He insisted on having a drug test. He claimed that Biden’s being helped in some way as it appears most of the time that he is falling asleep. He claimed that the president walked up there and did a poor job during the State of the Union address but he was jacked up.
Donald Trump who will be in a rematch with Biden in this year’s Presidential elections on 5th November did not provide any evidence to substantiate his claim. It is not the first time that Trump has made bizarre remarks against Biden using drugs.
Trump asserted throughout the 2016 presidential campaign that Hillary Clinton, his Democratic opponent, was abusing performance-enhancing pharmaceuticals. Trump claimed he was “not joking” when asked why he was making such a claim. Strangely, when Trump was caught on camera sniffing repeatedly during a 2016 presidential debate, he was the center of attention. Some claimed the Republican leader might be using cocaine as a result of that sniffing.
Actor Carrie Fisher and former Democratic presidential contender Howard Dean both asserted that Trump was high when he repeatedly sniffed during the 2016 debate.
