This picture of PM Modi bowing to Ambani brothers’ picture is FAKE

A picture has surfaced on the internet in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be seen bowing down to the picture of Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani.

At the time of filing this report, the above post was shared by over 1,100 Facebook users.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found that it is a FAKE picture.

On putting the picture through reverse image search, we came across the original picture which was tweeted by PM Modi himself on his verified Twitter handle. In the picture, which was posted on December 30th, 2018, PM Modi can be seen in the Cellular Jail in Andaman paying his tribute to Veer Savarkar.

Hence, this proves that the viral picture is photoshopped.
