Audi is all set to show a brand new concept study at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show called the Audi AI: Trail, which marks the completion of the quartet of visionary automobiles, which started in 2017.
The debut car back then was the Audi AICON but now it’s the AI: Trail. The company hasn’t released any specifications of the concept yet, but there are few things the teaser gives an impression about.
At #IAA19, we are showcasing the concept study for an electrically driven off-roader – designated for #future #mobility. Take a look at all of our concept #cars, including the Audi AICON that was presented at the past @iaamesse: https://t.co/6ab5St4hSW pic.twitter.com/4TXJR6wXz4

The outline of the car clearly distinguishes tit as an electric off-roader. The design itself sees the wheels being pushed out and while we get to see a shot of the side only, it’s clear that there are no overhangs from the body panels. These, the obvious name and the large off-road tyres are traditional indicators of it being an off-road vehicle.
The Audi AI: Trail does not feature any curves but there’s a big glass area for visibility apparently, and it sits higher off the ground too.
