A video is making rounds on social media in which security forces can be seen using tear gas at the crowd. It is being claimed that forces were dispersing a procession held during the recent ‘Muharram’ celebrations in Kashmir.
The text in the caption read: “The latest situation in Kashmir. An attempt is being made to stop the procession of Muharram.”

On putting the screengrab through a Reverse Image Search, we came across a video dated 31 Jul 2015 on the YouTube channel of Associated Press.
The above information proves that the claim attached to the viral post is FAKE.
