NewsMobile fact-checked the claim and found that Kumar Vishwas has not joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) yet.
After the rumours of him joining the BJP started doing rounds, Vishwas took to Twitter to clear the air.
“I am abroad (Doha, Qatar) for an event. If you say, I can join from here? Why don’t you set a repeat alarm to run this report every week? Why strain your fingers unnecessarily,” Kumar Vishwas tweeted in Hindi.
