COVID-19: PM Narendra Modi wishes Boris Johnson a speedy recovery

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished his British counterpart Boris Johnson, a speedy recovery, as the latter has been hospitalised due to the deadly Coronavirus.

The British Prime Minister had only last month tested positive for the deadly virus and he was hospitalised on Sunday after persistent fever and exhibiting other symptoms of the virus.

He had opted to work from home.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has described the conditions of the PM to be stable.

US President Donald Trump too wished his counterpart a speedy recovery.

Britain has enforced a lockdown even as it is grappling to handle the fall out of the virus.

The Health Secretary said that he hoped to achieve a testing of 100,000 people by end of April.
