Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways are likely to address the delegates. Joining them will be CEOs and representatives of the world´s most respected corporations including Binod K. Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman of Horasis says “Now is not the time to allow inward-looking policies to prevail.” “As India and the rest of the world battle the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallout, it is up to the engines of globalization to work together with international partners to collaborate on best practices to collectively combat this crisis. Over the past few days, the Indian government has unveiled a slew of measures that would help the Indian economy battle and recover from the adverse impact of the coronavirus crisis. There is a focus on promoting ”Atma Nirbhar Bharat” or a Self-Reliant India.

It will be interesting to hear how leaders view the future of the world and whether self-reliance and globalisation can become two sides of the same coin.
