A video is being circulated on social media with a claim that an Ukrainian child confronted a Russian soldier after Russia invaded Ukraine.
The video is being shared with the Hindi caption, “रूसी सैनिक और यूक्रेन की बच्ची ,बाँकी मेरे पास सब्द नही ,बस सलाम करते हैं.”

We extracted keyframes of the video using the InVid tool and ran a search. Through the search, we found the same video uploaded on YouTube in December 2012.
“Brave Palestinian girl Ahed Tamimi vs Soldier: Where is my brother ??????, ” the title of the video read.
Taking a hint from this, we ran a keyword search and found images of the same incident in multiple media reports.
A 2018 article by The Guardian shared the image of the same girl with the caption, “Ahed Tamimi confronting an Israeli soldier during a protest in 2012 Photograph: Abbas Momani/AFP/Getty Images”

Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the video shows Ahed Tamimi, a Palestinian girl, confronting an Israeli soldier during a protest in 2012.
