A video in which a woman can be seen interviewing a man with his family is being widely shared on social media. In the viral video, the man can be heard saying that they have 15 children. Sharing this video, social media users are claiming that this video is from India and linking it to growing unemployment in the country.
The video is shared on Facebook with the Hindi caption, “कुछ सालों में नौकरी तो क्या देश में पैर रखने कि भी जगह नहीं मिलेगी”
(English translation: In a few years, you won’t find a place to set foot in this country, let alone a job.)

In the viral video, we noticed the logo of ‘Leader TV HD’ at the bottom-right corner. Taking this cue, we performed a Reverse Image Search with relevant keywords and found the same video uploaded on the YouTube channel of Leader TV HD on April 11, 2022. The text over the video is written in the Urdu language. Also, one of the hashtags reads “#Pakistan.”
The same video was also uploaded on the Facebook and Instagram pages of Leader TV HD with the caption, “Why do more people living in slums have more children? Secrets” (Translated from Urdu). The hashtags used here are “#Pakistan, #LeaderTVHD, #LeaderTVPakistan”.
We then checked the about section of Leader TV HD’s YouTube page and found that the location mentioned is ‘Pakistan’. Also, the channel’s website is “www.leader.com.pk”. We also checked other videos uploaded on this channel and mostly were located in Pakistan only.
We also performed a keyword search but could not find any recent Indian media report that carried the viral video with similar claims.
Hence, it can be concluded that the viral video is from Pakistan and is not related to India.
