Monsoon Session: Both Houses Adjourned Till Tomorrow Amid Ruckus Over Inflation

Date:

New Delhi: Amid continuous protest by the opposition in the parliament over inflation and GST rates, both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were adjourned on Wednesday.

Both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha are set to resume on 21st July and the session will begin at 11 am.

While the proceedings were disrupted by the opposition, BJP leader Smriti Irani slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by saying that he might have been “politically unproductive” and accused him of trying to bring down the productivity of Lok Sabha.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi took a gibe at the Congress claiming that the government is ready to have a discussion in parliament over the price hikes.
