If Girl Tells A Boy ‘I Want To Have Sex’, She Is Doing ‘Dhandha’: Mukesh Khanna

Date:

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna popular for his role as Shaktimaan, recently made a controversial statement on women.

In a viral video he said, “Koi bhi ladki agar kisi ladke ko kahe ki, ‘I want to have sex with you’, woh ladki ladki nahi hai, woh dhandha kar rahi hai. Kyunki iss tarah ke nirlaj baatein koi sabhya samaj ki ladki kabhi nhi karegi. Agar woh karti hai toh woh sabhya samaj ki nhi hai. Woh uska dhandha hai. Aap usme bhaagi daar mat baniye.” (If any girl tells a boy, ‘I want to have sex with you’, she is not a girl, she is doing business. Because such shameless things will never be done by a girl from a virtuous society. If he does then he does not belong to society. That is his business. Don’t be a part of it)

‘Kya Aapko Bhi Aisi Ladkiyan Lubhati Hain?’ was the title of the video.

Mukesh is best known for appearing on television as superhero ‘Shaktimaan,’ he also has a YouTube channel where he expresses his opinions on a range of social issues.

His seven-minute video had a sexist tone throughout.

In the video, Mukesh also asked women to stay within ‘limits’ and respect traditions.

The actor was idolized by an entire generation of kids in the 90s, many of whom are the ones aghast at his comments now.

The viral statement is being criticized on social media, Aditi Mittal, a comedian, made a comment on a video clip ‘Shakti(ap)maan.’

Another said, “He ruined my childhood,” and “Shakti and Maan, both gone for a throw,” a person wrote.
