Sanjay Raut Death Threat Case: Mumbai Police Books Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Saturday booked gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with a death threat to Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut.

Mumbai Police in a statement said that “A case has been registered under sections 506(2) and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Lawrence Bishnoi at KanjurMarg police station in Mumbai in connection with a death threat to Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut,”.

Responding to the death threat to Sanjay Raut, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that police are investigating the case and proper action will be taken in the matter.

Earlier today, Raut had filed a written complaint after he allegedly received a threat message from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang mentioning that he would be killed like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in Delhi.
