Two killed, four injured in accident

Two persons, including a woman, were killed and four persons injured in a road accident in Bihar’s Nawada district today, police said.

The incident occurred when an auto rickshaw collided with a bus in the early morning hours near a petrol pump under Town police station of the district.

The victims have been identified as Tunni Devi (40), wife of Lalan Yadav who is a resident of Narviganj police station area and Dilip Ravidas (40), resident of Mufassil police station area.

Both of them died on the spot, Nawada town police SHO Sunil Kumar said.

The injured Priyanka Kumari (4), Deep Shikha (40) Shivdani Prasad (50) and his wife Gayatri Devi (46) have been admitted to Sadar hospital, he said.
