Fire at state-run hospital in city

Kolkata, Aug 29 (PTI) A fire broke out in the library ofstate-run Sambhunath Pandit Hospital here this morning, firebrigade officials said. The fire broke out in the second floor library of thehospital at 11.48 AM. Six fire tenders were pressed into service and the blazewas brought under control within 15 minutes, the officialssaid. There was no report of injury to any person, policesaid. The incident comes two days after a fire broke out inanother state-run hospital in Murshidabad district that leftthree persons dead.
