Man electrocuted

New Delhi, Sep 16 (PTI) A man was electrocuted whileanother sustained injuries when they tried to remove a part ofa transformer in east Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area, police saidtoday. 32-year-old Raees was electrocuted while Vikas sustainedinjuries. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital, a seniorpolice officer said. They were accompanied by two labourers, Manoj and Amit,who escaped unhurt, he said. According to the labourers, Raees called them to help himload a few boxes on a vehicle and told them that they would bepaid Rs 200 each, said the officer. Police were trying to ascertain whether Raees was tryingto steal the switchgear or he was a worker who was taking thepart for repairing purpose, police said. His mobile phone has been recovered from the spot andpolice are trying to get details about his profile, said theofficer. PTI SLBSMN
