Moto E3 power launched in India

Date:

After announcing the Moto E3 smartphone in July, Lenovo India has launched its freshest budget Moto smartphone the Moto E3 Power in the country on Monday. The corporation is hosting an event in New Delhi that’s programmed to commence at 2:30pm IST.

It however seems the company is preparing up to launch just the Moto E3 Power in India, and not the Moto E3, based on the invite and social media posts. The company in a tweet also approved that the Moto E3 Power will be exclusive to Flipkart.

As per the listing, the Moto E3 Power with codename XT1706 features a 5-inch HD 720p display, which is slightly larger compared to 4.5-inch on the Moto E (2015). The smartphone could be powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit quad core chipset locked at 1GHz. Paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot for further expansion is also expected. The upgrades also come in the camera department with the smartphone featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, it runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box.
