School Education Secretary repatriated to cadre state

New Delhi, Sep 20 (PTI) School Education and LiteracySecretary Subash Chandra Khuntia was today sent back to hiscadre state -Karnataka- before completion of his tenure here. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approvedpremature repatriation of Khuntia to his parent cadre withimmediate effect, an order issued by Department of Personneland Training (DoPT) said without citing any reason. He is a 1981-batch IAS office of Karnataka cadre. Khuntia is likely to be appointed as new Chief Secretaryof Karnataka in place of Aravind Jadhav, sources said. He was appointed as Secretary, School Education andLiteracy in Ministry of Human Resource Development, in Junelast year. PTI AKV DIP DVDIP
