IRB bags six-laning highway project in Rajasthan

Mumbai, Sep 20 (PTI) IRB Infrastructure Developerstoday said it has bagged a DBFOT road project for six-laningof 125 km long Kishangarh–Udaipur–Ahmedabad section inRajasthan. The company has emerged as a preferred bidder for the125 km long project, which is to be constructed on design,build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis under theNational Highways Development Project’s phase V (package-V), astatement issued here said today. The concession period of the project is 20 yearsincluding construction period of 910 days. The company willget tolling rights on the project from the appointed date. IRB has offered a premium of Rs 228.60 crore to NHAIin terms of the concession agreement. With this, IRB’s construction order book will increaseto around Rs 11,300 crore, to be executed in the next fouryears. "This will boost the company’s construction order bookvisibility for next three to four year," it said. PTI PSK NRBBALBAS
