Indian origin wrestler wins WWE championship

Jindal Mahal, a wrestler from Indian origin and citizen of Canada won the WWE championship defeating Randy Orton in the Backlash event. He became the first wrestler ever of Indian origin to win this title. The spectators were in shock after this surprising result in Chicago.

Earlier Mahal said “I am very proud to be representing India in such a large scale and I am representing India on such a large scale and I hope I win the WWE title”

The Great Khali in 2007 won the World Heavyweight Championship.
