Trouble for Kejriwal; AAP MLA Amanatullah allegedly assaults Delhi Chief Secretary

New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah allegedly assaulted Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in a meeting a little post-midnight. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly present at the meeting during the assault.

At the meeting, the Delhi Chief Secretary had raised certain questions on the AAP Government’s excess spending on advertisements, which enraged Kejriwal and his associates following which a physical assault took place.

According to reports Amanatullah slapped and kicked the Delhi Chief Secretary at the Secretariat. Reports also claim that Arvind Kejriwal himself assaulted Prakash.

Sources also confirm that Kejriwal hurled “filthy abuses” at Prakash during the altercation.

Meanwhile, the IAS has called for a lockdown in protest.
