Kaala Review: Rajinikanth’s revolutionary avatar breaks the box office

As the first show of Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Kaala’ got over in Chennai, the fans seemed to be exhilarated with the movie and the actor-turned politician’s performance.

One fan said that the movie was very different from his last film ‘Kabaali’ and a very nice film, other said that social message in the movie involving Dharavi slums has been very powerfully portrayed in the movie.

A few fans even said that though the movie carries a social message, given the situation in Tamil Nadu, the movie will have political implications. Most of the fans of Thalaiva were seen in black (Kaala) clothes and t-shirts imprinted with Kaala posters to celebrate their favourite superstar.

The fans also said that there is no logic of banning the movie as in no part has the movie targeting any particular community.
