Class 10 student distributes Rs 46 lakh of father’s money among friends

Madhya Pradesh: In a bizarre incident, a class 10 student reportedly distributed Rs 46 lakh of his dad’s wealth among his friends on the occasion of Friendship day.

One of his friends happens to be a daily wager’s son, who the boy gave a sum of Rs 15 Lakh, and another 3 Lakh to his friend who had apparently finished his homework, media reports said.

The father of the boy is a builder by profession. He had kept the amount in his cupboard after he sold a property worth Rs 60 Lakh. He went to the police after he discovered that the money was missing.

According to the reports, one of the kids even bought a new car with the given money and Around 35 classmates at his school and coaching centre got smartphones and others were given a silver bracelet. The daily wager’s son has been missing since the day.

Police officials called the parents of those students who had been gifted a huge sum and ordered them to submit the money within 5 days. So far, the police have been able to recover Rs 15 lakh.

No case has been registered against the children as all of them happen to be minors and the search for missing boy is underway.
