Jamia engineering student bags $100,000 job offer, makes history!

A Jamia Milia Islamia B.Tech student from a humble background has made history by being the first one from the University to bag a $100,000 job in the US. After fulfilling his dream of becoming an engineer, Mohammad Aamir Ali, the son of a Delhi electrician, has been now received a job offer from an established tech company.

He has a Rs 70 lakh per annum offer to work for Frisson Motor Werks as a battery management systems engineer.

According to the University, the salary is the highest any Jamia graduate has ever been awarded. The US based company set sights on Ali after he made a prototype of a new, costless way of charging electric vehicles.

Impressed with his ideas and research, they contacted him through the university to offer him a job to work on his project.

In an interview to a national daily, his father, Shamshad Ali, said, “Aamir would ask questions on functioning of electrical equipment and electricity that even I could not answer despite being an electrician. I always told him to work hard. I am very happy for him today.”
