When UK Prime Minister Theresa May announced snap elections recently, there was a lot of brouhaha. Understandably so. But what this also means might surprise you.

For the first time since 1924, UK, Germany and France now share an assembly election year. That means for the last 92 years, these three countries have never shared an election year.
The three major world players are going to decide their fate all in the same year. What a historic year!
