A South African hunter is believed to be “eaten by crocodiles” after human remains were found inside two animals. Scott van Zyl had gone on a hunting safari to Zimbabwe.
He was missing for the last one week.
Scott van Zyl was accompanied by a pack of dogs. He was a professional hunter and helped organise trips for foreign clients. Reports said that he is believed to have been eaten by crocodiles on the bank of Limpopo River.

Media reports said that he walked towards a different direction and into a bush. Later, his belongings were found inside the vehicle. The dogs returned to the camp with van Zyl, it said.
Rescue teams were sent to search the area for the hunter. Helicopters, trackers and divers all were employed in the search for this tragic hunter. His tracks were found leading to the river banks. His backpack was found nearby.

“Police suspected two Nile crocodiles may have eaten Mr Van Zyl, Sakkie Louwrens, a member of one of the search teams was quoted my the reports. We found what could possibly be human remains in them,” he told The Telegraph. Forensic experts are currently testing whether the remains belong to Mr van Zyl.
