A massive fire engulfed the 24-storey Grenfell Tower on Latimer Road in White City on Wednesday morning. The fire has been reportedly caused by an exploding fridge and has cause 6 deaths that we know off. A baby fell from the tenth floor of this very building that was ablaze, in what people are calling a miracle incident, and a man on the ground ran forward to catch him and save him.

According to reports, Samira Lamrani said she saw a woman trying to save a baby by dropping it from a window ‘on the ninth or 10th floor’ to waiting members of the public below. She said that the woman at the window was frantically waving and gesturing at the public below to indicate that she was about to drop the baby from the window. In another such case, a resident named Zara saw another woman dropping her 5-year old son from the fifth or sixth floor to escape the fire.

Apart from the ‘miracle baby’, there were several cases of parents dropping their children from the windows for them to escape the horrific inferno that trapped so many residents in the building.
