The family of the boy said their son was beaten to death but the school claims that the boy was not well because of which he died. “Based on the admissions of the apprehended boys as well as the CCTV footage, we have dropped the provision of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and added section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code,” he added.
