Mumbai, Aug 18 (PTI) Groundnut oil prices surged at theVashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today onpersistent demand from stockist and retailers amid ensuingfestivities. Refined palmolein also advanced due to steady demand fromretailers. Meanwhile, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial andlinseed oil held stable in absence of any large-scale buyingactivity. In the edible section, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 20 per10kg to Rs 1,450 from Tuesday closing level of Rs 1,430 andrefined palmolein rose by Rs 13 per 10kg to Rs 625 as comparedto Rs 612 previously. Moving to the non-edible segment, castorseeds boldcastoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs3,650 per 100kg, Rs 760 per 10kg and Rs 1,150 per 10kg. PTIBPDABI
