Date:

The girl who was abducted from outside her college premises in Gurgaon, has been rescued. According to Gurgaon police, the girl has been freed and is safe now.

“The girl has been freed and is safe at home. The girl knew the three kidnappers,” Navdeep Singh Virk, Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon said.

It took Police seven hours to free the girl who was kidnapped in a car from outside a college in Gurgaon at around 9.40 am.

According to an eyewitness, a speeding Swift car stopped at the DSD college gate and a person sitting on the back seat of the car pulled the girl student inside the vehicle.

“The number of the car couldn’t be seen as number plates were covered with mud and gravel,” said the eyewitness.

College students informed that it was a black car. Cops have started probe in the case and have sought CCTV footage from college authorities.

According to reports, there were four persons in the car.

Navdeep Singh Virk, CP Gurgaon, said: ‘We will try to resolve the matter in a few hours.’

Between January and December 2014, 203 new cases of crime against women were filed in Gurgaon’s fast-track court.
