Paris Jackson Seeks $600 Million From Late Father Michael Jackson’s Estate

Date:

Paris Jackson has approached a court seeking the distribution of approximately $600 million from her late father Michael Jackson’s estate, accusing its longtime executors of delaying the transfer of her inheritance.

According to the sources quoted reports, the 28-year-old filed a petition before the Los Angeles Superior Court on October 29, naming estate executor John Branca and alleging that he has maintained excessive control over the funds intended for her and her brothers, Prince and Bigi.

Paris has argued that the family trust, established to benefit the three children, remains inadequately funded despite the estate generating substantial revenue over the years. She also alleged that the amounts previously distributed to the siblings were reduced further after she sought legal assistance last year.

In response, representatives of the estate rejected her allegations, stating, “More than USD 200 million has already been distributed to or for the benefit of Paris and the other beneficiaries.” They also cited ongoing tax litigation with the IRS as a reason for the delay in fully funding the trusts.

The next hearing in the matter is expected to take place in December.
