Mumbai: The polling booth became a visual treat for the voters on Wednesday as Several Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan casted their vote and made an appeal to the people of the state to exercise their rights and vote for change.

Explaining the meaning of the word ‘vote’, megastar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “Vote comes from the Latin word Votum, which translates as vow, wish, promise, or dedication. Go Vote.”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was spotted with his wife Gauri Khan, said, “If you want your voice to be heard, if you want to be heard, if you want your city, your state, your country the way it should be… I think everybody should come out and vote.”
