The much anticipated first song of Rohit Shetty’s Diwale is out and considering it features Shah Rukh and Kajol, the entire world seems to be rosy. And why not, SRK-Kajol embodies pure love and romance on the silver screen after all.
Director Rohit Shetty, has managed to capture the sizzling SRK-Kajol chemistry in the 4.47 minute long song Gerua. With warm embraces, intense gazes and much in love caresses, Gerua promises to be the next love anthem of the nation.
The beautiful and dreamy sequences can make anyone feel the intense love. Watching the song will make you a little romantic and a lot more nostalgic as it will surely bring back the lovy-dovy memories of Sooraj Hua Madhham song from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.
Kajol’s vibrant and gorgeous chiffon sarees and her beautiful curls flowing all over her face, SRK’s signature open arms ready to embrace his love and the duo running on the waterfall amidst the mountains- all of this will remind you of the Suraj Hua Madhham track.
But there is more to Gerua. Mostly shot in Iceland, a short sequence on the boat and SRK and Kajol singing their love standing in a lake surrounded by mini ice bergs is what makes it different from the K3G song.
The music is composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra. The song was launched at the epic Maratha Mandir in Mumbai which is still running Shah Rukh and Kajol’s biggest blockbuster of their career-DDLJ.
So are you ready for the next love anthem? Here’s is the song for all SRK and Kajol fans:
Shah Rukh Khan also tweeted about his romantic pairing with Kajol and the wonderful song on Twitter:

Where I meet u,away from the sun, slipping thru the shade,a moment pauses, the sky melts into a mirror & sets within it:forming ur face.#Gerua
