‘dangerous’ Ayodhya (UP), Aug 26 (PTI) A week after two people died ina roof collapse in a temple here, the district administrationtoday banned the entry of devotees in 25 dilapidated religiousbuildings, declaring them "dangerous". The Ayodhya Municipal Board has identified 174 buildingsin Ayodhya but has declared only 25 of them as "dangerous". "The time-worn buildings that do not house temples will bedemolished. Notices have been issued to their owners in thisregard," said Faizabad Additional District Magistrate, V KPandey. "The dilapidated religious buildings will either berenovated or action will be taken in accordance to thesuggestion of the temple’s priest and managing committee," headded. The list of the religious places where the entry ofdevotees has been banned includes a 17th-century mosque’Aalamgiri Masjid’ which was built during the reign of Mughalemperor Aurangzeb, around 1700 AD, and is situated in Ragraarea of Ayodhya.
