New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday condemned the incident in which a 20-year-old woman was killed after her scooty was hit by a car and her body was dragged for four kilometres from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala.
Delhi Police said the body was found almost an hour later. The victim was an event organiser and was returning from work at the time. There were five men in the car, who have been arrested.
Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal said the incident was “shameful” and the culprits should be “punished severely”.
pic.twitter.com/Mmuuf8HnWl

Earlier, Delhi L-G V K Saxena took to Twitter and wrote, “My head hangs in shame over the inhuman crime in Kanjhawala-Sultanpuri today morning and I am shocked by the monstrous insensitivity of the perpetrators.”
Even as every possible support/help and beyond, to the family of the victim will be ensured, I appeal to all to not resort to opportunistic scavenging. Let’s together work towards a more responsible and sensitive society.
