Jharkhand CM condoles death of A R Kidwai

Ranchi, Aug 24 (PTI) Jharkhand Chief Minister RaghubarDas today condoled the death of A R Kidwai, former Governor ofWest Bengal, Haryana and Bihar. The nation has lost an able administrator, reputededucationist and committed social worker, Das said in hiscondolence message. Let the Almighty give strength to the bereaved familyat this hour and eternal peace to the departed soul, he said. Describing him as a renowned educationist, formerJharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda also expressed his griefat Kidwai’s demise. Born in 1920, A R Kidwai served as Governor of severalstates for 17 years in Bihar (twice), West Bengal and Haryana.Besides, he held temporary charge of Governor of Punjab and ofRajasthan and Administrator of Delhi and of Chandigarh.
