Dharamshala (HP), Sep 6 (PTI) A top Kangra districtadministration official today declared the district as opiumand cannabis free. Over 40 lakh cannabis and opium plants in 18 lakh sqmt area in the district have been uprooted and destroyed underthe statewide cannabis eradication drive from August 22 toSeptember 5, Deputy Commissioner, Kangra, Ritesh Chauhan said. The campaign was carried out on all lands, including grampanchayat, forest, PWD, IPH, agriculture, horticulture,roadsides, he said. PTI Corr AQS RGAQS
