Naxal carrying Rs one-lakh bounty nabbed in Kondagaon

Raipur, Aug 23 (PTI) Two Naxals, one of them carryinga cash reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, were today apprehendedfrom Chhattisgarh’s insurgency-hit Kondagaon area, policesaid. Jagat and Ramnath Sodi, both aged 30, were nabbed fromKudur and Nahkanar respectively during a search operationwhich was launched by the security forces in the interiorvillages, Kondagaon Superintendent of Police Santosh Singhtold PTI. While Jagat was active as the head of ‘Janatana Sarkar’wing of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) in Kudur, Sodhi belonged tojanmilitia cadre, he said. They were wanted in several incidents, including attackson police party, loot and murder, he added. PTI TKP ARSSGSDM
