New Delhi: The National Capital’s North Block Area received a bomb threat mail on Wednesday. As per the officials, a dog squad and bomb disposal team along with police and fire department personnel have been deployed to North Block, which houses the Home Ministry.
Search Ops are on and till now nothing suspicious has been found. The call to Delhi Fire Service was made after an officer posted at the North Block received a bomb threat by mail from a police officer. The latest threat comes days after several hospitals in Delhi, the Indira Gandhi International Airport and the Tihar Jail were targeted with bomb threat emails, alleging the presence of explosives on their premises.
Delhi Police investigated these threats and found them to be false. 60 schools in Delhi and Noida also received similar bomb threats which created panic among the students and the parents.
